NTT DATA Romania sustains three study lines within Babeş-Bolyai University – the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science - a study line at the Bachelor's level, one master's degree program and one Postgraduate Training Program in Computer Science.
"NTT DATA Romania is continuously endorsing the community and future generations of IT specialists, reason why the beginning of the academic year is very important to us. Together with Babeş-Bolyai University representatives, the diplomatic environment and the business environment, we have signed today the document on the establishment of the Consultative Council of the German Language Line, which supports the promotion of a truly sustainable university education system. The three study lines open promising prospects to all those who have decided to follow. They offer students the skills they need to grow in the IT area, but also the acquisition of practical experience that is so necessary for a good integration into the labor market. "said Daniel Metz, CEO of NTT DATA Romania.
The aim of the Bachelor's degree program is to provide students with the ability to understand and manipulate the basic concepts and methods of fundamental mathematical structures, with the specialization "Informatics in German” at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Also, the focus areas are fundamental programming, development and maintenance of software systems, transmission and capitalization of the studied methods. The final objective of the program is to teach students the concept of permanent learning, to understand and apply the latest scientific results in mathematics and computer science. Also, to address mathematical problems in other sciences through mathematical and computational tools. This academic year (2018-2019), the department enjoys 65 new students who will be trained in NTT DATA Romania’s classrooms.
The curriculum of the Master’s Program in "Advanced Information Systems: Modeling, Design, Development" was structured for the 18 students admitted this year.
