Cluj-Napoca, 3 April 2020 - NTT DATA has announced the appointment of Walter Ruffinoni and Swen Rehders as Co-CEOs for NTT DATA EMEA, to accelerate the growth in operations and development, and the expansion of the NTT DATA EMEA business. This is effective from 1 April 2020 for a six-month period.
During this period, Walter Ruffinoni and Swen Rehders will also continue with their current roles as CEO of NTT DATA Italy and Managing Director of NTT DATA Germany respectively. As Co-CEO, Walter Ruffinoni will be responsible for operations, budget and business, while Co-CEO Swen Rehders will focus on EMEA M&A, large deals and the further integrated collaboration between all NTT DATA companies in EMEA.
Effective 1 October 2020, Swen Rehders will step back from the Co-CEO position and will continue to perform his role as Managing Director of NTT DATA Germany. As such, he will concentrate on M&A, new industries and large deals, working with Stefan Hansen, CEO of NTT DATA Germany, responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
On the same date, Walter Ruffinoni will become CEO of NTT DATA EMEA while still maintaining his role as CEO of NTT DATA Italy.
Swen Rehders confirmation as Co-CEO of NTT DATA EMEA also reflects the important position of NTT DATA Germany within the European organisation, having seen continuous growth and excellent sales results.
