An additional project of very high importance to our company was launched earlier this year, within the German-speaking area, aiming to develop a tool for the processing of financial and banking transactions for a well-renowned bank. The development effort for this specific tool reaches a duration of several years and subsequent maintenance approx. 15 years. On the local market a 62% increase has been reported in comparison with the last year. Worth mentioning is the increase of the customer base especially in the Embedded services area, within the local automotive components manufacturing industry. Among these we name: Elster (a Honeywell company), Autoliv, Renesas, Continental Automotive. Territorial expansions NTT DATA Romania has subsidiaries throughout the entire country: in Bucharest, Timisoara, Sibiu, Brasov and Iasi, now expanding its territory by setting up a new branch in Novi Sad, Serbia. The action reflects a new strategic direction of the company: that of developing new subsidiaries in the Central-Eastern European region. 1200 employees and external collaborators for 2016 The NTT DATA Romania team exceeded the number of 1,100 members at the beginning of September, hence reporting a 44% increase in employee number compared to 2015, during the same time period. By the end of this year we plan to hire 100 new colleagues, an increase by approx. 40% compared to that of the previous year. NTT DATA Romania currently has over 150 open positions, for a wide range of roles such as Project Manager, Operations Manager, programming positions such as Java, Cobol, Embedded, .Net, Frontend, but also consultancy positions such as SAP ABAP consultancy, AMS support, automated and manual testing and roles such as Business Analyst or Financial Controller.
