Crossing sustainable paths: NTT DATA Romania, Digital Partner for Via Transilvanica
At NTT DATA Romania, the people are at the heart of everything is done. Therefore, the company's sustainability strategy mirrors maintaining a healthy work-life balance and prioritizing well-being.
In this light, NTT DATA Romania is now the Digital Partner for Via Transilvanica.
Through this collaboration, the goal is to contribute to the Via Transilvanica project and the development of local communities by leveraging innovation and technology.
We are honored to support this project focusing on educational, social, environmental, and cultural activities. Known also as the “road that unites”, Via Transilvanica is Romania’s first long-distance trail, a tourist route that crosses Romania diagonally from Putna to Drobeta Turnu Severin, connecting all the geographical areas where NTT DATA Romania has offices.
To kick off the partnership, NTT DATA Romania hosted an event organized by Via Transilvanica on December 12, 2023. The event took place at the Cluj-Napoca office. At this event, Maria Metz, CEO of NTT DATA Romania, announced the exciting partnership with representatives from the Tasuleasa Society. It was also a great opportunity to promote the Season’s Greeting campaign to all participants, as NTT DATA Romania chose to support Tasuleasa Society NGO.
Another highlight of the event was the book launch of Christine Thürmer, a renowned hiker who walked the equivalent of one and a half times around the world. She shared one of the most inspiring quotes for Via Transilvanica: "...through the andesite milestones marking every kilometer, which have various sculptures, we practically have the world's longest fine arts and sculptures exhibition."
